I'm wondering if it would be smart to buy a second Graphics card, and i don't know if theres anything i need to be warned about?

Specs:

intel I7 - 3370k - CPU 3,90GHz

16g RAM

NVIDIA GeForce GTX 660

I dont know what my Named exactly, but on the Box (hehe) it says it's named

Also som strange DATA language where it says the word -

For sure you need motherboard with place for two GPUs, SLI bridge (should be together with graphics card), and the power supply which can handle that. More info on setting it up should be in the MB manual.

Xfire/SLI, while it does increase performace with some games, can also be the cause of rendering errors or even worse performance. But fear not, it can be disabled for selected games with software.

And next time, post hardware-related questions in hardware subforum.

Disclaimer: I don't have Xfire set up because a)not enough monies and b)meh

You can look that board up on the Gigabyte site. It appears to only support CrossFireX. You need a new motherboard for SLI or sell the 660 and get a couple R9 270X or 280 cards for CFX. It would also require a big power supply for dual cards like a 750W.

Most of the time the Xfire/SLI runs like crap on most games R9-265

The board only supports AMD CrossFireX. Mixing an AMD card with an NVIDIA card won't work. A 600W power supply isn't enough for a dual card setup.

your options:

1. Get a couple identical AMD cards for CrossFire and a new power supply. Your case also needs to be big enough to fit two cards.

2. or.. Get a new motherboard, power supply and another 660 for SLI.

3. or... Just get a new single more powerful NVIDIA card like a 770 or 780

4. Better to get a AMD R8-265 for $139.00
AMD R8-265 is newer than the R9-270x and much faster

If I spend the money for SLI i need to see a 20-50% in all my games 26c-70cma

Thanks, i think ill buy the 770, it look quiet good but i also liked the:
Gigabyte Radeon R9 290 4GB GDDR5
but it sucks 600w, will that work?

The 265 has about the same performance as the 660. That would be replacing a 660 with another 660.

edit:

The 600W PSU is enough for a 770 or 290.

That's a pretty powerful card. It can run most games on ultra at over 60 fps. You could probably find an R9 280 or 280X cheaper and have the same performance as a 770.

differences:

770 - 256 bit 2GB & 4GB versions
280 - 384 bit 3GB
