YouTube video resolution when embedded in guide?
I'm creating my first Steam Guide. I'm embedding a 1080p video I uploaded to YouTube, but for some reason the guide preview lacks the option to select higher than 360p for the embedded video. (Yes, it is done processing in YouTube). Will higher resolutions be selectable when I publish it? Is it possible to watch the video in 1080p when embedded in Steam, or do I have to use external links and make people open their browser in youtube?

Thanks

This also happens to me when I'm using the Steam client, but If access with a browser, it works fine.

OK, thanks guys for confirming. I'll just point people towards using their web browser to view the videos in 1080p.

I've been able to embed videos in reviews and guides lately with the option for higher res when viewed. But just recently Steam (maybe?) changed something about format, because all my embedded videos are now just links, and all the url hotlinks I made are now embedded video.
They've switched, it's very strange.

If anyone has info on this subject I'd be interested. I just put a bunch in... not I have to switch them all to url hotlinks? so they'll be embedded videos again?

(Also, did some searches and it brought me write back to steam on this subject, lol)
