All steam games insta-minimizing when launching, can't re-open.

Hi Guys.

Starting from this morning, I have this issue where the majority of my Steam games are unplayable. I launch one, get as far as the spash screen for the logos before it instantly goes back to the desktop without me doing anything.

I am using a dual monitor set up, the main monitor is 2560 x 1440p, and the secondary one is 1920 x 1080p.

Using compatabilty mode seems to let me launch the game, but if I tab out I need to restart the game. Couldn't find any fixes relavent to me online, only work arounds. I need a proper fix!

System specs:

Windows 8.1 64-Bit
i7 4790k Haswell Refresh
MSI NVIDIA GeForce GTX 780 Ti 3GB
Asus Sabertooth Z97 Mark 1 Motherboard
16GB Corsair/Crucial PC3-12800 1600MHz DDR3

Anyone had this before and know how to fix it?

Note: I haven't made any changes such as new software, it just randomly started today. Which sucks since I had the day off work and was hoping to get some gaming done lol.

Resolved. Uninstalled Bitdefender 2015.
