Has anyone got suspended for 20+ years and steam not tell why?

What happened to me was i tried to change my password and i click the link in my email to lok this account sent a support tick on the incident few days later i get suspended till 2038. I also had 100+ worth of games on that account.

I got the restiction notice from steam support as soon as i clicked it saying i cant use the community, trade, go on vac protected servers or buy and put money on the account it. The link was from steam because i was trying to change my password and i clicked that link then I sent the steam support a support ticked and 2 or 3 days later i am suspended till 2038 did not get any response from steam it says that they (the staff) will try to email me but they never did then then i went to my steam profile and it said i was suspended and the suspension will be lifted in jan 2038 10:38 pm time is something like that.

Are you 100% sure you clicked a link in an email from steam and you werent phished, 20years is a bit excessive. lol

because he got a steam warning in the client which he isnt telling us about or he has a permanent trade ban on his other account, since he hasnt linked additional information we can only speculate about what is going on so he should be more honest and give more details, otherwise it is nearly impossible to advice him about what to do.

Fully agree, i'd find it hard to believe steam would put 'banned until 2038' though. Valve doesnt even know if steam will be active at that point

you can get 20 years but that is linked to trade bans so.. he needs to tell us what exactly he got the 20 years for i have seen people post that they got 20 years ban because of scamming items so again he needs to provide us with additional information if he wants help on what to do.

They have a high ticket volume, so it can take up to 3 weeks

on my profile when i tried to edit it it says
