Steam web helper crashes everything but my library.

So ever since the update has been pushed out I have had troubles with accessing every steam page in the client. Before it would start loading windows pops up with "Steam Client Web helper has stopped working." I get this with every attempt to access any community pages, store pages,profile, and etc. Of course the only thing that works is my library because it's not a part of the web browser.

Is anyone else having this problem too? If so is there any way to fix it?

I did try the whole flush configuration and it didn't work as well.

Update-

Steam updated just recently for me and it still doesn't work. I know my boyfriend has the same problem still. The only thing he could think of is we have matching fm2 cpu's. As far as I can see there is nothing I can do on my side for the steam web helper to work at all.

I have also tried what it mentioned in a similar thread about refreshing my steam files. Deleting everything but the steamapps, userdata, and .exe in the steam file. Then I reinstalled the steam client.

It didn't change a thing.

i have the same problem and i can't find any servers in game. i assume it's because steam webhelper has crashed. this sucks i can't play CS at all now. it was working last night just fine

You got that right. I wonder if it's some weird compatibility issue. So far I can't make heads or tails of it. I hope they fix this soon.

So, yeah steam updated and web helper is still not working. My boyfriend has this problem as well (we both have the same fm2 chips). Could it be some weird Cpu compatibility thing? However, it works fine on his laptop.

Yeah, that was one of the first things I tried because I thought it was just some mess-up with the files themselves. I even tried refreshing the files. Nothing so far has worked. It's kind of weird.
