CS:GO will not open/launch. PLEASE HELP ME

I have a problem where if I press the play button, it would say "preparing to launch Counter-Strike: Global Offensive" and then nothing would show up on my screen. I've verified my game cache at least twice, I've reinstalled the game, set different launch options (-autoconfig, -safe), un-installed any programs that may interfere with Steam, Updated my drivers and restarted my computer. Pls help!

try launching again, if it stills doesn't launch and still has the prepare to launch screen open up task manager (CTRL + shift + esc) and end the task for the game and try again.

it comes up in task manager for a split second then dissapears

this might take a long time but how about delete steam form your computer, re installing it , re instal the game, and try launching it
