Changing Game CD-Key (with a New Activation Code)

I installed a Ubisoft Rocksmith 2014 game recently. I had been encounterd some uplay account issues. Their customer service advised me to create a new uplay account and gave me a new Steam Activation Code, so that i could change my Cd-Key. But when i try to activate the new code from "Games" menu, it says that game is already in my list and it does not change its Cd-Key.

I deleted the game's local content and re-installed the game from DVD. But the Cd-Key was the same.
I created a new account on Steam and activated the code again. The Cd-Key was the same.

Long story short; i need a new CD-Key to successfully login to UPlay in the game. How can i generate a new key?

I did..
And i googled it just now, this topic appeared at the 4th result =)

There were game spesific solutions for the CD-Keys. When search for rocksmith, results were only illegal crack sites...

I don't think you where supposed to use that new CD-key in Steam. Use it when uplay asks for it. or maybe it was a Steam key?

Sounds like ubisoft support should know about this. make sure you did what they said and so on.

Nope.. The new key i mentioned is the Steam Activation Code. They give me a valid steam activation code, it is working.. But it does not renew the CD key on the game properties.. In the game, it asks for the CDKey to login..
