Activate the key, then use restore backup to get most data from the discs.
Well I bought Call Of Duty Ghost's at a store here in Newzealand.
Step One: I put the disc in the cd rom of my pc.
Step Two: I went to my HDD and right clicked on (D:), then clicked "Install or run programme from you're media"
Step Three: Then it promted me to choose a language (English) Then the "Setup" luanched with these options to sellect : Install
Technical Support
Readme
Quit
I then obviously selected Install.
Step Four: Licensing Agreement, I selected "I accept the term in the Licensing Agreement". This made a Steam activation page load.
Step Five: I entered the product key found in the front of my CoD Ghosts CD case, then i clicked the next button provided.
Step Six: The result of all this ended with a Steam page saying
"Purchase Error"
"An unexpected error has occurred. Your subscription to the following items has not been completed." (Call Of Duty Ghost's Pre-order Edition)
"Please contact Steam Support using the link below."
I have already contacted Steam using the link but I am still waiting for a reply.
Thanks
Skippy
