Newsteam - Turning off Cleartype
The update isn't appealing to me. It's made it a lot harder to read a lot of things, and the way my monitor is, the Cleartype in the browser is the worst thing about it. I alredy have Cleartype disabled on Windows, but I don't know what sort of browser-base it uses now to ignore that and use Cleartype on its own anyways.

If anyone could help me disable the cleartype in the Steam browser, I'd be satisfied.

I thought something was up with the font looking different. It was very crisp before, now it looks kinda blurred at times.

Nobody has a thing on it, so far? Everyone doesn't even recognize it as Cleartype, it's just "blurred."

At the top left of the main window click: Steam > Settings > Interface. Uncheck the "Enable DirectWrite for improved font smoothing and kerning" box. Click OK. Restart Steam. Now text doesn't look like you're drunk :D

It was only affecting the browser and was fixed with an update.
