Windows XP?

There are some games I was thinking of buying, such as Waking Mars, Super Hexagon, and Jazzpunk. But they all say in the system requirements Windows XP as the OS and nothing else. I have Windows 7, so can these seriously not run on Windows 7?

They most likely will work. Only a small list of games refuse to work on Windows 7 or 8. You can set compatibility settings on the game exe to get them working better if they act up. Sometimes a game needs tweaks or mods. Fans get older games working on a newer OS. You can usually find tweaks on the game hub or other forums about it.

Google is good to see if someone's plays a certain game on your OS version and hardware.
