Typed in wrong expiration date "Visa ending in ****"

I typed in a new payment method and then had the 7 day restricted access to the community market which I use in CS:GO, today with 3 days remaining of the 7, I find out that I had typed in the wrong expiration date... being off around about a few 1000 years. I was just wondering if the verification will still go though as none of the transactions steam has apparently sent to get the verifying out of the way is on my account, I use the steam market all the time so any help will be gladly appreciated, Also what do I do if it does not verify!
Sent this exact question to steam support but have not heard anything, so hoping you guys can help me.
