How do I set a game into high priority mode permanently?

Some of my games when I play them I like to open my task manager and set the game's priority to high to get a performance boost. Is there anyway I can set it to when they launch they are automatically in high priority mode?

Just don't run other CPU-intensive programs.

"Above Normal" will do pretty much the same as High, but being much safer.
Also this won't boost your game performance unless you have other applications taking up CPU time, and if they are and not used then they shouldn't be running.

To start in a priority mode;
start /high steam://rungameid/gameIDhere

Save into a Shortcut or Batch file.
Your priorities are;

/High
/AboveNormal
/Normal
/BelowNormal

This should work. I'm not on a Windows system to try.

If that doesn't work however , there's programs out there that can do the same. Some of the more known ones are "prio" and "process tamer" .

This does start the game. But it doesn't change the priority. The same syntax does change the priority on Notepad, though. So the basic idea works. There's just something different about a Steam game.
