Permanent ban. Hundreds of munnies to nowhere?
I already made a thread about being blocked for fraudulent actions.
Today a bot sent me a reply
Hello Mihal,

Thank you for contacting Steam Support.

We apologize for the delay.

We have found activity in the Steam account related to fraudulent credit card use.

Per the Steam Subscriber Agreement, we have locked the account permanently. The account will not be reactivated.

The Steam Subscriber Agreement can be found at:
http://store.steampowered.com/subscriber_agreement/

In addition to violation of contract, said activities on the account may violate state and federal law. Valve reserves the right to refer the matter to the appropriate

Actually im pretty sure the bot was replying and i also scrolled some similar threads and well, the OP was actually the card owner. He got one more reply asking some info on the card and after sending that info he got the same reply as mine and he got banned.

Each case is different. Steam handles all of these carefully and doesn't ban an account for no reason.

The only thing you can do is ask your relative to contact Steam Support in reference to your account. They'll need to create their own Steam Support account which is separate than a Steam account.

Pointless. Period.

You'll have to wait for Steam Support to respond. It's the weekend, and Steam Support is usually a 3-5 day wait minimum. Since this is a serious matter that needs invetigating, it will probably take a week or so to get all the details gathered and figured out.

Yea right exept that i had to wait a response from a bot for 9 days and just get a perma ban? Fair nuff.

If you think the process is pointless, then we can't help you. There is no "bot" that sent you that email. Yes, it could've been an automated message but there was a real person who handled your case. This is how most supports operate.

Well what about " This account wont be reactivated"?
Then I guess it won't be reactivated. Hopefully you don't make the same mistakes with your new one.

You can still play your existing games, right? Just can't use the Market, trade, redeem keys, use the store, etc.

If you didn't have permission to use the card and your parent reported the charges you made as fraudulent, then your only chance is to explain to your parent it was you and hope that when your parent contacts Steam Support, they will unlock your account.

Its not my parent. He/She knew that i made a charge. Noone reported anything.
I dont see why you have a problem with the original owner making a steam support account and helping you out and why would you pretend to be the owner, that is like lying you think lying would solve your problem ? if the card owner is right next to you why not sit down chill and make the support account for him together and create a proper support ticket where the card owner gives the valid information etc etc + the card owner saying he authorized the card to be used on your account.

but somehow that seems like too much for you :)

Question? Would a charge back, or other suspected fraud use on another account with the same credit card information cause a ban on all accounts that had used the credit card? Probably?

A chargeback triggers a 9 month suspension or until you clear the chargeback. Chargeback a don't trigger permanent account suspensions

The OP did something VERY VERY bad for support to trigger a perma ban for fraud

You used a card you weren't authorized to use. The owner then contacted the credit card company and reported a fraudulent charge that was charged back to Steam. Nothing you can do about that.

You are not being honest, or the person who's card it is isn't being honest with you. It was reported as fraud. They don't care who's credit card you use, as long as it's not reported as a fraudulent charge and and then reversed..
