STEAM stuck on updating games

hello guys. can you help me what to do with this?

i tried verifying game cache but it says it's up to date but my games is still not updated. steam is always stuck on this. can you help guys?

Try hitting Play. Should finish updating.

it asks me to "download the update" or "launch now". when i click download the update steam says "updating dota 2" "preparing to launch". but it's still stuck. 0% progress. when i click "launch now" it says in game that "game client is out of date". i have this problem a couple of days now

That's pretty weird. Let me suggest this fix. Works for a lot of Steam related issues.

i usually just have to restart steam for it to work again.

yes. i did. i closed it when renaming the ClientRegistry.blob. also restarted pc. doesn't work

Could be the reason I never see such issues ever! I've always had Steam set to BETA. Everything just works!
