Adobe Flash Player install issues

I want to find a new game that is free-to-play and in order to do that I need to see how the game looks via the video on the games page. When I click a game it says "You will need to Install the latest Flash plugin to view this page properly." I then proceed to install the latest version of Adobe Flash and the words "You will need to Install the latest Flash plugin to view this page properly." are still there and I can't watch a video or view a photo.

Did you try restarting Steam after installing Adobe Flashplayer?

Try going to the Adobe Flashplayer site and download the Flashplayer for other browsers and install it. Link: http://get.adobe.com/flashplayer/otherversions/ Also, maybe try restarting your computer after installing it as well.

same problem except chrome wont let me get adobe flash player because it comes with it inbuilt and for the record steams videos were working just fine for a long time before they suddenly stopped working for no reason

Ive installed this flash player over and over and still nothing works. Is it because i don't agree with google's bullsh!t active x spy google chrome.. gives me some small patch that installs and does nothing. I restart the PC and still my player isn't working in steam... Funny this is the only place i have this issue. Used to work fine before through steam.

I won't buy games if i can't even see stills let alone flash vids... If i look at any game in store i can't even flick through the screen shots..

What now i have to use things like youtube just too see game footage... WTF!

Your problem steam you ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ fix it! don't expect me to fix your ♥♥♥♥ ups.. VIDS don't play i don't PAY!

Because of the change. Long ago, Steam needed the Flash Player. Then, it didn't need it. And just a little ago, it was changed to need the Flash Player again. And people prefer ranting in forums to help themselves.
