dllhost.exe *32 (wtf is going on)
taskmanager is filled with these "dllhost.exe *32" things
some of them are as much as 200,000 k. idk what that means but i know higher numbers are bad. cpu usage is at 100 percent and everything is so slowwwwwww
internet is not working either
oh yea and i right clicked and clicked "end process" for all of them, cpu usage went down to 5 percent and i was like
thank god thats over
but now they are back
they all just reappeared

please help i have no idea what is going on lol

on the far right of each one it says COM Surrogate, not sure if thats helpful but yeah

and i keep getting alerts from norton :|

Thats a virus. Norton is spazzing out cause its overwhelmed trying to stop all of them. Try and run a full norton scan. But DO NOT delete dllhost.exe it is essential to windows, it is likely that some other program is exploiting it.

i ran the norton scan
was going well, got to 3,000 items scanned
but then windows did some kind of emergency shutdown
i turned it back on and first thing i did was open task manager
all of the dllhosts are gone
cpu usage is back down
so i guess thats it

you might want to download some anti mallware, and ccleaner.. to be sure. an emergency shutdown during a virus scan? don't trust that man

Yep no problem. You might want to do the scan one more time just to make sure it wont come back at a later date.
