How to download mods from Steam Workshop?

I have been a TF2 player for a long time but it is not until recently have I gotten into the downloading of skins. As with most players, I use the website GameBanana to download customization content. However, after scrolling through the Steam Workshop, I found a collection of high quality features that I am dying to try them out. Unfortunately, there does not seem to be a download button of any sort. Any advice on the matter?

You can't download anything from TF2's workshop. Valve looks at them and adds the best ones to the game.

For other games, there should be a Subscribe button.

What does the Subscribe button do?

Downloads & installs the mod by default.

You should look at subscribing as installing the mods to the game.
