Question about ALL the requirements to unlock market and trading on new steam account
So I made a second steam account for my girlfriend to use so we can play some games together. I knew there were restrictions on the market and trading for new accounts, but there seem to be more than I thought.

I want to know everything I need to do to open up both the market and trading as soon as possible.

So far I know:
Steamguard enabled for 15 days.

Added a new credit card so 7 days (doesn't matter because steamguard lasts longer)

Now I have seen something about having to make a purchase up to 30 days ago?! (thats an awfully long wait) is that true? does putting money in the steam wallet count as a "purchase" or do I have to buy a game. this account has 10 games on it, but they are all giveaways and humble bundle extra keys (no game was bought on the steam store) Does this restrict only the market? or trading also?

The reason I'm asking is because I saw in FAQs it mentions a purchase over 30 days ago, but when I go to the market it only mentions steamguard and my new credit card. I don't want to wait 15 days for steamguard to finally check out to get a new message that says i need to buy a game and wait ANOTHER 30 days.

any advice is always appreciated.

Market: Steam guard on for at least 15 days. A purchase directly from Steam older than 30 days but less than 365.

Trading: Steam guard on for at least 15 days.

All the other restrictions are shorter than these so they will be removed before these.

"Purchase Limitations

Your account must have a successful purchase older than thirty days, but not older than a year in order to access the Marketplace. The purchase of wallet funds qualifies for this requirement. Retail CD key activations do not satisfy this requirement."

Ok so I will have to wait 30 whole days from the date I put wallet funds into the account to able to use the market.

But once steamguard passes 15 days I will be able to trade at least. am i getting this right?

Not new to steam, but new to having a new account on steam. I appreciate your help and advice. :wizard:

No problem if you have any other questions feel free to ask.
Regarding the steam guard restriction, it is 15 days or 360 hors and not a minute sooner. A lot of people expect the restriction to be removed at the beginning of the 15 day, but it extends into the 15 day until the time you activated Steam Guard.
