Should I buy a new gaming mouse?
So I recently started debating as to whether I should buy a new gaming mouse or not. I found a good looking one on EBay for a decent price:
http://www.ebay.com/itm/3200-DPI-7-Button-LED-Optical-USB-Wired-Gaming-Mouse-Mice-For-Pro-Gamer-TM-/111304660134?pt=Mice&hash=item19ea4654a6
I know It's really cheap for a gaming mouse and It's probably cheaply made, but I don't have a lot of money so I need to cut corners where I can. Anyway the thing is what led me to this debate was my current mouse, the one that came with my computer, is starting to act up. It seems that ever few months, the mouse will have a random period of every 5 minutes, it will act as though I unpluged it and stop working. It does this alot when it does it and really can get on your nerves when your playing a game (can't even tell you how many times I've died in the Attack On Titan Tribute game because of this). It stops working for a few seconds, then will come back as though I re-plugged it in (even playing the windows noise when you plug a USB jack in). The thing is, as I said, it seems this is a problem that comes and goes. Other than that the mouse works just fine, its not a fancy mouse, it works just fine, but I'm still considering getting a new mouse, so I'd like to get a few fellow gamers opinions on this, should I get a new gaming mouse? Do you think the one I'm looking at is any good? And if not, does anyone have any suggestions for better gaming mouses that wouldn't break my budget? Thx!

A new mouse, gaming or not would be advisable as it sounds like there is a slight break in the cable causing the intermitten connection on your current mouse.

As for the link you provided I can not comment on its quality. Can't find a make or model to check reviews or ask people based on its information. It's just a Generic mouse. It could be great, especially for the money but it could far be worse than what you have. Personally I'd stay clear of it.

Check on Amazon, or anywhere else, that has a variety of mice and check reviews of mice you like the sound of in your price range. You can even ask questions for more info if you wish. If you want people here to provide suggestions on specific cheap gaming mice they'd need to know what your budget actually is :steammocking:

Damn didn't even pay attention to the date when I replied ;/

Edit: Actually surprised the original link is still valid, sold but still works.

Yeah they've been selling that mouse (called 'Zelotes' btw) for years now, with different logo and even different name but basically the same mouse every time.

Well I'm still deciding if I should get it or not, I've been scraping my pennies together over the years and I think I MIGHT just be able to afford it! /s

This thread was quite old before the recent post, so we're locking it to prevent confusion.
