But you should also take steps to secure your PC and to never click any links someone sends you. Run an antivirus, clean your cookies, etc. Also change your passwords and the like but only after you can confirm your PC is clean.
I've never had to use Steam Support but from what I know from other support ticket systems that companies use, your ticket will be given a status that helps to tell you as well as Steam internally the progress of your ticket.
If your ticket says "Resolved" or "Closed" then you need to create a new ticket. If it's still "Open" then you'll be able to get support still from the same ticket.
I hope they don't do the same thing that happened to you man, plus good luck getting it back, hope you get it back soon.
