My credit card got blocked by STEAM.
Hi. My VISA credit card has expired on September 2016, and I wasn't aware of that and proceeded to add 5 euro Steam Wallet Funds with the incorrect three-digit code because it was updated. Then I contacted the bank yesterday and they gave me the new three-digit code and the expire date to September 2018. After I tried to purchase again, it didn't work so I contacted the bank again, and they told me that my credit card is blocked by you, because I entered the wrong code and it was detected as a failed hack attempt. That's what they told me, I'm not pointing any fingers, only asking you to unblock my VISA card so I can proceed with my purchases.

I had issues with the CVV, but it was my bank that ultimately blocked my card, not Steam. I couldn't purchase from anywhere, nor use it on POS.

Did they told you it was Steam's fault?

If so, try using your card somewhere else (e.g. purchase a less than $1 game on Humble Store or similar) to see if it works...

Yeah. It is blocked completely, confirmed by my bank. And they told me that whoever I bought from has blocked the card as a failed hack attempt and it is they who need to unblock it.

I'm thinking of asking my friend to open a VISA card so we can share it and use the money on it to buy stuff since I'm still a minor and he is 20. Then I'll just take out the money I have in store in the current VISA card in my bank and put it on the new one. Think that's gonna work?

@LowJack_VA1 I tried but it wouldn't work. When I click send or whatever it says, the big button, it wont work. I tried on the website too, but for some reason my login credentials arent valid so I guess it's a thing I can only use the client? I dont know and thats not the problem rn.

Of course your login credentials don't work! The support page ells you that you need a separate support account.

Okay, but as I said that's not the problem here.

To fix your problem you must contact Steam Support.
Create the necessary support account and create a ticket. That's the only way you can get help in your current situation.

By the way, Support works fine in a browser, or even with a smartphone.
