What Steam games use Punkbuster ?
I had to reinstall Windows 7, clean install.

I do not have Origin installed this time. I am pretty sure Battlefield 3, uses Punkbuster.

Yet, Punkbuster is installed and runs on startup, located in C:\Windows\SysWOW64.

I do not know why is it installed though.

APB reloaded and Medal of Honor (2010) are the only games I remember using Punkbuster.

I think Quake 3 had it in the retail version but don't know if it's also in the steam version.

Thanks Lemonfed, APB Reloaded is to blame. Can I disable the Punkbuster files ?

Punkbuster is no longer used. So you can safely uninstall pinkbuster via add/remove programs.
