Overheating Motherboard???
Okay so I recently just went on HWmonitor to check my computer's temps and I realized that my motherboard is sticking around 115 C, but my cpu is sticking less than 40 C. So I went to use another program (speccy) and it said the same thing. So I literally placed a large fan to cool off the inside for like 20 mins. Then I turned on my computer and checked the temp and it was 119 C. So is my temp sensor for my motherboard just broken? or should I be concerned? Also I haven't had any crashing or anything of that sort.

Check your temp from the BIOS; HWMonitor is wrong. But your motherboard may not have a temp sensor, hence the 115C.

I just checked, my cpu temp is below 40C. And I just got worried about my motherboard cuz I checked it a while ago and it was around 20C, so to see this sudden jump kinda scared me.

Motherboard sensors in my experience are rarely ever accurate/correct.

Just worry about the CPUs temps, not the boards.

its fine, those are very low power chipset and will not overheat

its most likely a missing sensor or not calibrated for the software

try using asus ai suite and see if it reports the temp correctly
