New SSD drive, HDD drive letters changed, library messed up...
Installed a new SSD drive for my windows 10 only(The win10 AU made all my games unplayable). Re-installed Steam because it thought it was a new computer. All the HDD drive letters were mixed up, I relabeled them back to what they were. But now My library is all messed up. Non Steam games are gone, and all the Steam games want to re-install.

When I try to install game, it tells me I need an empty Steam Library folder. I assumed I could try to install the game in the original folder and it would see it, Validate it, and make everything ok?

Is there an easy way to link the current steam folders back to my new Steam install??? I have 100's of games in two 1TB HDD's. I don't want to downlaod everything again?

Are there certain files I can transfere from my old/original Steam Folder to make things work?

Thanks
Steve B

move all games and files to another folder from your old external library for example "tempfolder". And open steam -> settings -> add library folder. if steam say "library folder should be empty" check all files inside of folder after move proccess. Folder should be empty. After library folder selection everythings ok but your games not listed in steam. Close the steam and copy all files inside tempfolder -> steamapps folder to new steamapps folder. Open steam thats it :steamhappy:
