My tf2 has missing texture(black and purple) any idea to fix this?
Like in the title, my tf2 has problems with sounds and even the crosshair is black and purple. Anyone have a similar problem or know how to fix it?

Right mouse click Team Fortress 2 on your Steam -library -> Properties -> Local Files -> Verify Integrity of Game Cache

Sounds like missing textures.

it says "Please exit any running games or tools before attempting to verify your game cache" Im not running a game or any tools that i know of. What is there that i can do?

Exit Steam, then retry?

And if this doesn't work, log off your windows user (or turn it off all the way) then do what ▲ said and vertify game cache.
