1. Steam is acting up
2. The game really has received that much update since the retail release. In that case, you will have to download it.
Ask in the game forum to rule out 2 (if possible).
Anyway, on my screen the singleplayer (and multiplayer; they share the files) accumulate up to 14404 MB. Make sure to run the Setup.exe on the disc.
Do note that whatever files have gone obsolete since the game was released will be downloaded from Steam. Discs are practically useless nowadays other than for near-release installation.
Yes i do run the setup.exe, but I don't understand why it downloads the whole game the installation doesnt even start
PS:- its downloading the Multiplayer
As I and Teutep already said, games get updates. Your discs are horribly outdated, that's why Steam download the current version of the game.
