Buying steam wallet codes for a friend in another region
Im from the Philippines and I buy my wallet codes via codashop.com which passes payment through credit cards. In turn, codashop forwards the codes through e-mail and I redeem the codes in steam. Here is my problem:

I want to buy a game for a friend in AUSTRALIA. But I found out you can no longer gift games inter-region, meaning steam users from the Philippines can only gift to users in Asia. I really wanted to gift a game for my friend in Australia for her birthday. CAN I INSTEAD BUY THE CODES HERE IN THE PHILIPPINES, SEND A SCREENSHOT OF THE CODE VIA EMAIL, AND SHE'D BE THE ONE TO REDEEM IT IN HER ACCOUNT IN AUSTRALIA SO THAT SHE CAN BUY THE GAME HERSELF IN AUSTRALIA?

Please I need a solution for inter region gifting/code sharing by saturday. Thanks in advance

I'd double check the ToS on that one, it seems like this would be in a gray area.
