How to stop Steam from recommending me VR games?

As the title says, Steam keeps spamming my recommended games section with games that require a VR headset. Firstly, I'm not interested in VR games whatsoever, and secondly, I dont even own a VR headset and probably never will. There must be a filter somwhere that i have overlooked or something.¨

also, same problem with visual novel games, and hidden object games. Get spammed allot with theese too.

On the main store of the Steam store, if you hover your cursor over the main banner a small "customize" option should pop up near the top right of that banner, there you can uncheck "Virtual Reality" and whatever else you don't want.
