How to Setup QoS for Specific Games?
Hello, I recently purchased the "ARRIS SURFboard SB6141 Cable Modem 343 Mbps" and the "Linksys N600 Advanced Simultaneous Dual-Band Wireless-N Router (E2500)" (links below). After a somewhat simple setup, I was searching through the router settings and found a tab for QoS. Now, when attempting to prioritize certain games on my PC, it had a set of predefined games, most of which were old or I had never even heard of. However, there was also an option to "add a new game", but there weren't any instructions, and I can't seem to find anything about it online. Here is a screenshot of it: https://gyazo.com/c227b62fadc1a9f207b830dcb68d9115

Any help is appreciated. Thanks! :steamhappy:

Looks fairly straight forward. Enter a name, enter the ports the game uses and make sure 'enabled' is ticked.

Although it does look like all it does is prioritise specific ports that each game would use.

Yes, sorry. Since posting this, I learned that the ports 27000-28000 cover a broad array of Steam games (if not all?) Correct me if I'm wrong. Thanks d00d! :D
