Is the WL sign-in assistant not part of the GFWL install?
Edit: Seems I'm having the same freezing issue as you even with the sign-in assistant installed >_<

i was encouraged by the fact that, in multiple recent reviews of Lost Planet 2, there seems to be many people able to have gfwl working to the point that online coop is good to go! i can't even sign in lol
I just checked for you, even with the client not working, Lost Planet 2 let me log it, took my GFWL key and started downloading my XBL profile no problem. I think the game just needs the Xlive.dll from the client.
i'm going to try again right now and report back
thanks eh :)
Nope I used my main XBL profile, had it for like 10 years since the 360 came out. Still use it now on the Xbone
