Is there a way to shut down or restart steam asides from task manager?
All in the title.

Right click is icon in the system tray and choose close is the only other way I know
Using CMD.EXE you can run TASKKILL /IM [Steam.exe name] and that will terminate it.

When you are in the task manager, search for Steam32.exe and Stop The Process that's how you do it

This, but it is "Exit" for me.

Exit will completely close the steam client. Esentially the same thing that happens when you close it via a task manager. I would highly recommend right clicking and exit over killing it in the task manager.
