VOIP Phone Number?
I'm trying to get Prime Matchmaking on CS:GO. I entered my phone number, but it says that they don't support VOIP phone numbers. My carrier is FreedomPop, which uses the AT&T network. Any ideas?

Short answer from this article:
https://gigaom.com/2013/10/22/how-freedompop-is-separating-voice-from-data-on-its-new-voip-phone-service/

Appears to be that FreedomPop is voice over Internet Protocol (VOIP), and thus not supported.

I thought that VOIP was just for over internet, not cellular? I can use it as a normal phone.

Though a mobile virtual network operator FreedomPop isn’t following the usual MVNO model of reselling another network’s traditional voice and messaging service. It’s buying bulk 3G and 4G data from Sprint(s s) and offering its own VoIP-based communications services over the top.

Otherwise it will look just like a regular mobile voice and messaging service. Each customer will get a phone number, which can be used to call or text any other number. The Android’s regular phone dialer has merely been remapped onto FreedomPop’s communications app, Stokols said.

It's definitely VOIP.
