14days, Still No Refund
Please, how long do u have to wait after 14 days? I still didnt recieve my refund after i requested a refund on my steam wallet.. I used PayMaya

Steam wallet refunds don't generally take 14 days, that's for refunds outside Steam. Was your refund accepted?

I requested it, then this message came on my email,

"Hello [RHC] OnigakO
Your refund request has been received by Steam!"

after that, there is a follow up message

Hello [RHC] OnigakO
"Your purchase has been refunded by Steam.
We’ve issued the refund to the payment provider. You should see a credit or see the original charge removed from your statement within 14 days."


How does this actually works? And i didnt quite understand what does this mean.. Btw thanks for replying

From the looks of it, you haven't asked for a refund to your Steam wallet.

I dont get it.. what do you mean?
The message suggests you refunded outside Steam, not to your Steam wallet.

We’ve issued the refund to the payment provider.

So what you mean is, steam already refunded the money but, they sent it to the payment provider? So i have to contact the payment provider and request a refund there and not on the steam support? Seems like i did the right thing, thanks mate!

No, you don't need to request a refund from your payment provider.
It will be automatically transferred back to your (bank) account.

It is PayMaya, and a Virtual Card.. i contacted them already, they say that they encountered thesame complaint, so i did what they wanted me to do.. and they will keep me posted about the development.. anyway, thank you for your replies :)

Ive had this problem a billion times and i got a solution for you. You need to take a screen shot of the mail thats shows you got the refund. Then you email you're bank with that screenshot and you tell them what happend and that should get you you're money back or atleast it did for me :)
