They never send out any credit card information, if you purchase something with your credit card, your bank account will have a transaction log on it, that's the only information you get.
You can disable any e-mail confirmations from Steam by going to your account details (click your username at the top right), and then press "Manage email preferences".
What if it's just from my Steam wallet? Will it send any email confirmation/bank account information to it? I don't need any of that stuff, and I don't want to get it.
It'll only send you an e-mail of a purchase receipt, if it's a community market purchase then it'll send you a market transaction confirmation per e-mail.
- In case you're unsure what a purchase receipt looks like, it'll contain product(s) purchased, invoice number, purchase date, detailed total payment cost, information of billing address, Valve's address, Steam account name that the purchase was made in and chosen payment method.
There will be a thank you for your purchase, and it will end with some notifications about that it is a recepit, the ability to refund and a link to the Steam support for your convenience.
If you have ever received a purchase receipt before, then it will look just like that, only difference is that the payment method will say Steam wallet instead of what you had before.
You'll still have the receipt in your account's purchase history also.
