Start up popular game everyone likes.
Minimize it.
Start up game you don't want anyone to know you play. Shame on you for hiding playing Barbie and Her Sisters Puppy Rescue.
Set profile to private.

Launch two titles, and the latter will show up as the one you're playing (unless they go under your profile and see which ones display there.)

Otherwise, might want to play with Steam friends as [Offline].

And that takes care of the profile issue. :)

Thing is, people need to see that I dont play any game at all rather than play a diffrent game

They changed the order with one beta batch that has since gone live.

This is also why in case scenarios like "In-Mod", instead of the mod's name, it will now show stuff like "Source SDK Base 2007"

Then you have a few options.

Firstly just the one running games in offline mode.

You can then use a sandbox to run Steam on it's own and it won't show you in game.
You can also use the mobile app or web chat if you want to talk to people.
Another PC is also an idea.

You could Steam Family Share the game to another account of yours and use that other account instead. If the game doesn't use Steamworks DRM, it might launch without it showing up on Steam if you launch it using its own executable too.
