If you're editing your profile multiple times it seems that steam is putting a delay of a couple hours. Try again later.

steam support says you can only make modification like 1 or 2 times for your profile status, if multiple times the server will glitch, and you can modify again after server recovers and catch up updating your data

It's pretty annoying. Never was really an issue, started happening around Sep.
Would be great to know how long it'd take to finally be able to update it after the error.

From what I've seen it's typically been around 4 hours.

about hour-ish, depends whether the server sync with the information or not, it's a server problem (you know steam server sometimes like a potato right?)
