1 unread comment that I can't see in my notifications

I came in to find that I have 2 unread comment notifications, only to find that I only have one highlighted message in the notifications panel. But what happened to the 'other' unread message? Why couldn't I see it for a reason?

In any case, I needed to find something that could make it 'read', but I couldn't find any feature. No 'Mark all as read,' no 'All unsubscribe', no similar features.

Is there actually a way to "read" this notification that's mysteriously hidden from me?

It’s just a stuck notification. It should eventually disappear on its own.

BUT lately ghost notifications have been hanging around much longer than usual.

There nothing you can really do but wait for the server to sort itself out at some point.

Sigh. Alright. I'll try to bear with it and hope that my muscle memory doesn't keep telling me I have "unread" messages.
