[Wallet] An unexpected error has occurred. Your purchase has not been completed.
Hello, i tried to gift a game to a friend but i get this odd error. The game cost 26 eur and i have 30 eur in the wallet, so is not a problem of money.

How i can solve this matter, i compiled a form and send it to the steam support, but as now i still do not have any reply.

This is odd, i make a gift before and was succesfully, but the second one no lucky... well, i have to wait i guess...

You can also use a different payment method which will most likely work.

Well, i don't want to use real money since i already have my wallet filled, make no sense to me to spend more... i'm disappointed by this lack of support from steam to solve such issue created by their system.

If you gift games frequently using wallet balance, Valve reserves the right to restrict the wallet balance to personal use only on grounds of potentially using the wallet balance commercially (by gifting games in exchange for real money with a markup, whether charged by a wallet/gift card or as profits from the steam marketplace) and/or to use it to launder money.

Valve has to restrict wallet balance use for gifting if gifting is performed excessively due to legal reasons. The threshold and how that threshold is calculated is not disclosed.

I only did 1 gift this morning, and this one is the second one, so they block me with just 1 gift? For real? Also are you sure about this? They can block me only based on assumptions?
I read nothing about such restrictions, this make no sense, i have my money in the wallet and i can't make a gift to a friend? I can't use my money how i want? What? If this is the case i will stop to use steam once i used all my wallet funds.

Dunno, i opened a ticket this morning and i since then i didn't received any reply. An explanation can be appreciated from steam and if my account is restricted as the user above claim.
