If USB devices got lower power supply, it would cause various issues.
So I'd suggest to connect PS5 controller to charger while not using.
And I tried to connect it while charging and it won't work
If so, click it > Remove Device
Then to pair it hold PS + Create button till it flashes then complete the regular process ('Add Bluetooth or other device' etc)
The situation sounds different but the symptom sound like when the controller has been paired by turning it on > Windows showing a popup asking to pair the device > choosing yes. When done that way, the controller gets added under 'Other devices' and when turned on, connects but then turns off after about 15 secs.
If it's not that, and it's listed under Mouse,.keyboard & pen where it should be, then try the same step anyway: select it > Remove device > pair it again with the good process. See if it makes any difference.
and it shows the controller on other devices
When it turns off immediately, is that immediately after it connects to BT, or more immediate like after pressing PS button it lights up then the lights go out again?
Since it's listed under 'Other devices', did you try the remove device > stick controller into pairing mode > pair controller stuff?
(Click 'Wireless controller' > Remove Device > Yes. Hold Create + PS buttons (sorry, told it the wrong way round before) till it does the quick double flash, then follow the regular process of adding a BT device).
Does it show under Mouse, keyboard & pen after doing that?
And I checked on ps5 and it worked fine

If there are multiple entries of the controller, do the same remove device step for each of them.
Tnx for all of your help
