Noob struggling to understand PC specs and if my PC can run games.

So, being able to see minimum and recommended specs would be SUPER helpful if I knew what I was looking at! I know my PC's specs but how do I know if they meet the requirements? I am completely new to PC gaming, so explain it like I'm 5. How do I know if my GPU is better or worse than the minimum requirements. Ram, storage, etc those are straight to the point. But when it just lists a graphics card I really do not know how I am supposed to know if mine is worse or okay or whatever. ;-;

Just go on youtube and check both CPU/GPU videos for that game, for example "GTA V GTX1660Ti" or "CSGO Intel i3-10300f" then look which performs worse and take it as your expected performance

Or you could use a comparison site to see how your CPU/GPU stacks up against the system requirements.

For example if you google your CPU) vs the listed recommended CPU you'll usually find the following site in the results

Doing the same for the GPU's will bring up similar results.

I the links below to my nephew to help him figure it out. To counter any Biases between NVidia/AMD and Intel/AMD stick to the same brand when doing comparisons. For example if Game requirements is Nvidia GPU GeForce GTX 660 or AMD GPU Radeon HD 7870 and you have a Nvidia GPU compare the GTX 660 with your GPU. If you have an AMD GPU you use the AMD requirement for comparison. Same with CPU
