Steam Client Double Notifications

Hey, from today I noticed my client is giving me double Notifications.

Friend starts up a game, two notifications, one on top of the other.
Friend sends a message, same deal.

Anyone have any idea what may be going on? I have tried restarting steam but that didn't help.

Turn off notifications restart steam them turn them back on again and see what happens?

Same thing here, maybe is an error from the atualization

Apparently fixed after new beta update which said "fixed double toast friend notifications"

Me too, been looking for a fix for a few days now.

Only workaround i have found is turn off notifications and wait for a fix.. :(

judging by the recent time of these comments im assuming this issue is just on and off since the original comment was from last year. best to wait and see if steam fixes it over time. hang in there laddies :(
