I can't buy DLC by a gift
I have a problem, I want to buy to my friend a DLC to Euro Truck Simulator 2 by a gift, but i can't
An error popped up

"An unexpected error has occurred. The transaction was not finalized.
Please try again in a few minutes.
If the error persists, please contact Steam Support."

I wrote to support, but I can't get answer. Somebody know solution?

Steam no longer allow users to buy games or dlc as a gift for friends using wallet founds. You can do that only if you pay directly using your PayPal or credit card and send the gift directly to your friend, but once you brought the credit into your wallet you can't buy gifts. Steam new rule...

Not completely correct, no.

Valve didn't outright ban sending game gifts using wallet funds.

If the system flags your account for possible commercial use, selling game gifts, you will no longer be able to use wallet funds to gift games. You can contact support to look into said flag to see if it was applied incorrectly.

But just not allowing game gifts using wallet funds, period, is a bit misleading.

Have you tried another payment method (not using Steam wallet)?

I have a lot of CS GO skins, so that's why I use steam wallet. Sometimes I make presents to my friends, they buy me a beer;)
