Steam can't recognise new SSD/HDD
If you had an issue where you couldn't find your newly installed SSD when you pressed "Move install folder..." this is a solution for you.
1. Open settings in your Steam app

2. Click Downloads and then Steam Library Folders

3. In Storage Manager click on a + and select your freshly installed drive. After that click on the three dots " ... " and select "Make Default"

[img] codes don't work on the forums. And its not that Steam can't recognize the new drive as much as you need to tell Steam to actually put a library folder on to it before you can move games to it.

if your SSD or HDD isn't working on Steam, then it isn't Steam at fault.

you either never plug in the SSD and/or HDD properly into their slot

or

your bios isn't configured to recognize the new SSD and/or HDD at all.

or

you got a faulty SSD and/or HDD installed.

----------------------------------------------------------------

you are pinning the blame on Steam Platform and Valve Corporation for your own computer issues.

any problems on your dekstop CPU components is your responsibility.

Steam and Valve Corporation aren't in charge of our Computers at all.
