Steam library think i'm in China ?
hello everyone,

Steam seems to think i'm in China in some way, i am in France, and never used a VPN.

One hour ago, i tried to write a review for kero blaster, but steam stopped me from posting it, showing me a message in chinese. Once translated, the message said that i could only write a review with the chinese alphabet.

Now if i click on the store page from a game in my library, it stops me and show me a warning in a new page in google chrome. I can still access the store page just not from my library and the price are still shown in euro. I can still play my game but the game page in my library doesn't show any community content anymore.

I recently gifted a reward to a friend in China, do you think it has something to do with my problem?

My IP says i'm in France, and every thing else works, but the game page think i'm in china, does anyone now why and/or a solution ?

Sorry for bad english

Not at all, it's an account that i have from a few years ago, most of my games come from humble bundle and steam itself

When you update your store region, you have to make a purchase with that countries currency AND via a payment method from a bank in said country to prove you live there.
Due to regional pricing abuse, Valve/Steam has made it far more difficult to change your store region to prevent the abuse.
