for the past hour every time I refresh a page here on Steam all i get is the pop up asking to to consent to cookides...no other game launcher does this crap,

i don't even have such problem at all.

in other words, the problem most likely isn't on Steam Platform end at all.

the problem is likely to be on the User End instead.

Kind of glad to see I'm not the only one who's being inundated by cookie permission spam every time a forum or thread is viewed. And preferences aren't being saved for an unknown reason.

Same here just started yesterday.
Did nothing to my PC; no downloads , no installations , nothing
It speared while viewing Discussion on Mount & Blade II: Bannerlord.
And it started.
Even now while I am writing this it appeared again and I Rejected ...
A minute ago I Accepted ...
The Cookie Preferences gives Error either choice.

Same. Been a couple of days now. Pops up ALL the time. Every time I check out a post or go anywhere or read anything. And same error message everyone else is getting about being unable to save/try again later. And anyway - my cookie settings have been set to Reject All since day1.

Definitely NOT a user-end problem, people have been posting massively on this the last few days

VERY annoying.

But do Steam/Valve actually see this/do anything about it?

Or is this - in effect - just shouting into the wind?

Yup - hadn't even noticed before you mentioned it that all achievements have gone
That happened today or yesterday - they were there a couple of days ago
