Help! Arcade stick configured to Steam Deck incorrectly bug.

Hi…. Need help. I’m trying to use a 8 button arcade stick on the steam deck. On accident when in originally configured it, I picked generic game pad instead of Xbox one controller. Because of this, I don’t have access to the trigger buttons for block in fighting games.

Every time I try to reconfigure the controller and save it in steam as a Xbox One Controller, when I click Yes to upload and save it. It reverts back to Generic Game Pad and won’t let me save it. I even went into the config file and tried to delete the bindings, and it still reverts back.

I think this original setting is stuck in the steam cloud or something, because no matter what I do it keeps reverting back to generic game pad with no access to the Right Trigger button.

Please help.
