My xbox one controller not showing up on bluetooth list after update
My controller worked fine to this day. I connected it via Bluetooth 4.2 and used it about a year without any problem on my PC with Windows 10. But today I connected it to my laptop with Windows 11 and it didn't show up there, so I updated a firmware of my controller on my laptop using USB cable, problem was solved there, but then it didn't connected to my Windows 10 PC, and what I did was I remove device from Bluetooth list and then I tried to reconnect it but now it won't even show up. It works fine with USB cable and I could just use it, but my port on controller became loose, and cable disconnects randomly. Also it works fine on my laptop.
Steps I did so far:
  1. I tried this[support.xbox.com] method on Xbox site to revert an update but my Xbox Accessories app won't do anything. It just shows my controllers list
  2. I tried to reinstall Bluetooth drivers on my PC. My PC successfully finds my other bluetooth devices, such as phone, headset, etc.
  3. Xbox controller works fine on my Samsung smartphone. I can play games with it.
  4. I changed batteries on controller.
  5. I updated Windows 10.

I am having this exact same issue. Were you able to find a solution?

Actually, I was able to find a solution!

  1. Open the Xbox Accessories App [www.microsoft.com] on your PC
  2. Connect your controller to your PC with a USB cable. (Double check that the USB cable is not just for charging devices, but actually transfers data too)
  3. Once your controller appears in the Accessories App, open your web browser and go to xboxaccessories://firmwareupdate/?legacyDowngrade=true [http//xboxaccessories]
  4. The link should cause the Accessories App to open with a hidden menu to let you downgrade the firmware on the controller.
  5. The process will take several minutes and the controller will disconnect and reconnect several times throughout the process.
  6. You can now disconnect your controller from the USB cable and reconnect it via Bluetooth

This solution worked for me and I hope it works for you as well!

I tried this but got the message "Sorry this controller cannot be reverted"
