Games disappeared from my library and history

Today I've realized that some games were missing from my library. They even disappear from the purchase history.

How to contact Steam for support?

* no, I didn't delete them
* no, my account hasn't been hacked

* yes, few games disappeared from steam

I did find a purchase confirmation (Aug-2020) of "Division 2" in my email box, this game I played for few hours and the "Division 1" much longer. Gone gone. Where are they?

What is wrong with the game history? Why can I not see all the games I've played?

Division 2 was never on Steam. That was after UBISOFT left Steam and only offered their games on UPLAY.
If you played Division 2 then it was on UPLAY and you added it to your Steam library as a "non Steam game".

Check what the "account name" is on the purchase confirmation email.
Is it exactly the same as you use to login to your account?

The most common reason for your problem is to have the game on another (maybe forgotten) account.

If the account name in the purchase email really is the one you login to your current account with, then keep reading.

Games bought from steam will always be listed here:
https://store.steampowered.com/account/history/
This is true even if you for some reason decides to "permanently remove" the game from your account.


Games activated on steam, but bought elsewhere, will normally be listed here:
https://store.steampowered.com/account/licenses/
However, if you "permanently remove" a game from your accoun then it will also disappear from the license list. (yes, that's pretty stupid, but that's the way it is)

In both cases you can restore removed games to your account via Steam support:
https://help.steampowered.com/en/
At the botton of the page is a search box, where you can search for the removed game.
When found, click it.
You should then see a number of options, one of which is "It's not in my library". Click that, and follow instructions.
