Is the steam community marketplace activated forever
I added funds to my account and my community marketplace was unavailable, i waited for the thing to go away and I am now able to use the community marketplace. I want to know if its activated forever or if i'll have to wait again if I add funds. (sorry for bad grammar)

I break it down to how to access marketplace.

You need a transaction purchase done on the account, buying games, loading wallet, buying in-game Microtransaction, basically making a payment. That transaction need to be 7 days old, but not older than 365 days old.

Example if load $5 on Steam wallet, on June 1st 2022, you need to wait until June 8th 2022 exactly 7 days. Now you have access to marketplace.

Example want to keep access to marketplace, you simply buy something again before 365th day, example like above you bought on June 1st 2022, you need to buy something before June 1st 2023, exactly 365 days, and if you bought something like March 1st 2023, you be good until March 1st 2024, as can see again that 365 days from that transaction.

Now if you want to sell items on marketplace, there a 15 days hold, there is away to bypass holds. You simply get the Steam mobile guard app, and set it up with your account, once done, you wait 7 days, then you can bypass holds by confirming it via the app.

If I'm understanding what you mean correctly

You need a purchase older than 7 days and under 1 year. Even if it's active now if you have made a store purchase that it between >7days and <365 days the market will become unavailable. When that happens you'd need to make a purchase on the store and wait 7 days

You need to buy something from Steam at least once per year to keep access to the steam market. No minimum spend, it can be the cheapest game or DLC.

Adding money to your steam wallet also counts as a purchase.

No, you need a transaction than 7 days old, to get access.

To keep access to marketplace, the latest transaction you done can't be older than 365 days. If it goes over 365 days, then you have to do the 7 days wait again when you buy something.

If bought on June 1st 2022, you have access to market place between June 8th 2022, and June 1st 2023. Making a transaction at any point before June 1st 2023, renewal the 365 days point to it new day, if bought something on March 1st 2023, it renew to March 1st 2024, keeping access to market place.

Wasn't sweating, well not for that just the heat here.

I make more mistakes than most and don't throw a hissy fit when corrected. Can blame my health, sounds like an excuse but it's true, why the facepalm gets used a lot by me lol
