Captcha not working on create new account
Captcha is just not working when I try to create a new account for my son.

I have tried on 2 different computers and my phone. I have tried doing it in the steam application on both computers, on chrome and edge, and safari on my phone.

I have tried deleting cookies, ipconfig flush, and CMD line as administrator.

It is just not working and I am going to right lose it if I have to click through more captcha for it to not work.

SMH my son was really looking forward to playing some coop

You've tested everything, so the problem is most likely not on your end.
It might be a server problem, that will be fixed when someone at Steam/Valve notices.

Try again tomorrow.

Btw, you're a bit unclear on just how it's not working.
- Is the captcha not showing, so you can't enter anything?
- The captcha is showing, but will not accept what you enter?
- Something else?

The captcha is showing, I do it (I have tried both clicking the pictures and the audio) I get the green checkmark and then when I click continue I get:

I'm having this issue today. Multiple PC's. Multiple methods I.E. Steam app and different browsers. You click on create an account. You enter the email address twice. You click the captcha and go thru it's checks and get the green check mark saying you did it right. You click on accept prompt at the bottom. You then click continue and get the error mentioned above although the ref ID changes from event to event of course. My most recent one was.

From there all you can do is repeat the whole thing again.

Very annoying to say the least. Trying to create a new account for my grandson and can't do it. Seems like this is one they would want to fix so they can get more of our money.
